If after a power outage or power surge, you loose WiFi or Internet access, do this recovery procedure:
(this procedure is also necessary if you changed your in-home WiFi SSID)

(1) Shut off power to all WiFi boosters by pressing and releasing the power button (see below).
Do not just unplug the AC adapter, this may cause more power surges and takes much longer to recover.

(2) After you power down the booster, you can unplug the AC adapter and move the booster and AC adpater to the WiFi Hub.

(3) Connect a Ethernet cable (also called a CAT-5 cable) from the WiFi booster to the WiFi Hub (see below):

(4) Plug in the AC adapter and press the Power button to turn on the WiFi booster.

(5) Be very patient. Let the booster fully restart. You will see a steady blue light or a steady magenta light.
It may take up to 4 minutes, be very patient.

If you have not changed your in-home SSID, jump to (Step 8).

(6) If you are changing in-home WiFi SSID, use a paper clip to insert the pin into the tiny hole next to the booster Power switch (see pic below).
Press the pin in and hold until the light on the front of the booster turns red and starts flashing, after 5 or 6 flashes, quickly let go the paper clip.

Remove the Ethernet cable.
Move the booster and AC adapter to a new location. Plug in the AC adapter, press the Power Button.
Wait for a steady blue light.

If you suspect the WiFi Hub is not working after power surge.

If the light on the front of the WiFi Hub is red, the WiFi Hub is not working.
Sometimes, even the light on the front is green, the WiFi Hub may still be not working.

(1) Turn off power to all WiFi boosters (see Step 1 above).

(2) Remove power to the Telus WiFi Hub by unplugging the black power connector at the back. Wait 10 seconds.

(3) Restore power to the Telus WiFi Hub by plugging in the black power connector at the back.

(4) Wait patiently (up to 5 minutes or more) for the WiFi Hub to reboot and reconnect to the Internet.

(5) The front LED should show a steady green when the WiFi Hub is working.

(6) Power up all the WiFi boosters by pressing the Power buttons on the back of the WiFi boosters.
